Is there a show money minimum? None, make sure your money in the bank is enough to cover all expenses of your stay. It would depend on the number of days you will stay in China and your itinerary. 2. Do they deny visa application? The chances of being denied is little because upon submission of your documents to the consul, they will check all the documents. If not complete, they will tell you to complete it or add additional documents. You may submit again on the day (new queuing number) or the following day. Applying Chinese visa is manageable. I think if you have time, you can process it on your own but if not, there are accredited travel agencies that could do it for you. I hope this helps! xoxo, M
